Clearing solar panels from customs requires specific steps, each of which is effective in the speed and accuracy of the process:

• Order registration in the comprehensive trade system
• Preparing and submitting customs declarations
• Gathering the required documents
• Verifying the identity of the owner of the goods and checking the authenticity of the shipment
• Determining the customs inspection route (green, yellow or red)
• Payment of duties, taxes and related fees
• Obtaining a green customs permit for the export of goods

Documents required for clearance

To complete the clearance process quickly and flawlessly, the following documents must be ready:

• Business card and identification documents of the owner of the goods or the clearing agent
• Declaration registered in the EPL system
• Order registration permit from the Ministry of Health
• Certificate of Origin from the Chamber of Commerce of the exporting country
• Release from the transportation company
• Bill of lading and insurance policy
• Packing List
• Proforma invoice, purchase invoice and warehouse receipt
• Customs green leaf
• License from the Ministry of Health (due to the industrial nature of the product)

If solar panels and similar equipment are imported for the construction of a power plant, presenting a construction permit can result in a customs exemption or discount.
